Miss M and I would like these forest creatures to live close to her bedroom tree.  The four seasons dress up dolls from Mae could build a little cabin if they wanted.

(tree constructed by me from recycled paper towel tubes and the bird houses from children shoe boxes)

 

Miss M e io vorremmo che queste creature silvestri vivessero vicino all'albero che c'è nella camera da letto di Miss M. Le bambole delle quattro stagioni di Mae potrebbero costruire una piccola capanna, se volessero.

(Ho costruito l'albero con rotoli di carta igienica e le casette degli uccellini con scatole di scarpe)

Making A Bird Thaumatrope:

If you want to try it out, just click on the circles and cut them out.  Find a stick or drinking straw and tape or glue the circles onto the end of the stick.(use the small gray line at the bottom of the circle to line up both sides with the stick.) Then start spinning!

When spinning, it almost looks like the bird is flapping its wings.

Se volete potete provare questo, tagliate i cerchietti e trovate un bastoncino o una cannuccia, incollate i cerchietti alla fine del bastoncino. (Usate la sottile linea grigia per allineare entrambi i lati quando li incollerete) Poi iniziate a farlo girare!

This little red sack of rocks is actually the perfect coloring crayon!
A crayon that won't snap in half because Miss M is pushing too hard to get bold color on the paper. We are starting our search in Bologna...
